Every Thursday the front room of Canolfan y Bont is transformed into a DJ set. Yes, we have DJs here in the Bont! As a result of the initial grant through the Arts Development Officer for Swansea, we have a talented group of young people, who share an interest in DJing and music. Wayne is helping bring their dream to life , supported by Swanseas Youth Offending Service and Youth Service. Wayne is a well known name across the clubbing circuit in Wales and Ibiza! The first group of young people, ‘Young & Gifted’ have developed tremendously since they started out, with one member of the group,Cae , having played sets in Oceana in Swansea!
The Young & Gifted group performed at the official switch on of the new lighting at the Multi Use Games Area in the Comprehensive School and judging by that performance, we are sure they will go far!
